SEPTA train crashes into car in Delaware County; Media Wawa Line suspended

A Regional Rail train collided with a car attempting to cross the railroad tracks near SEPTA’s Fernwood Station in Lansdowne, Delaware County, on Wednesday, Dec. 21. Two people in the car were injured and taken to a hospital for treatment, SEPTA said. No train passengers reported injuries. The Media Wawa Line was suspended in both directions.
