Temple graduate students go on strike amid stalled contract negotiations

A group of Temple University graduate students went on strike Tuesday, demanding better pay and health care benefits. The union representing Temple’s teaching and research assistants said the strike will continue until a new contract is reached. The Temple University Graduate Student Association has been working without a contract since Feb. 15, 2022. Temple has claimed it has offered a fair contract that fits within its budget constraints.
