Temple offers college credit to lifeguards who work at city pools this summer

Temple students can receive three college credits for working as lifeguards at city pools this summer, as part of a new partnership between the university and Philadelphia Parks & Recreation. The program is the latest city hiring incentive to staff its 74 pools, many of which remained closed last year due to employee shortages.
