Temple University has tapped former Philadelphia police commissioner Charles Ramsey to conduct an audit of its campus safety services. Violent crime and homicides fell during the eight years Ramsey led the Philadelphia Police Department, but violence since has soared, impacting the safety of Temple’s community in North Philly.
