N.J. restaurants permitted to expand spaces for outdoor dining service



New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy signed into law on Friday legislation that will allow restaurants and bars to expand their premises for outdoor dining service. The bill, which was previously vetoed by Murphy, provides municipalities with the power to approve all requests made by restaurants to expand their outdoor dining footprint. The measure also allows for alcoholic beverages to be sold at seasonal farmers markets.

Pennsylvania Game Commission revives black bear cam in Monroe County



The Pennsylvania Game Commission’s livestream from a bear den camera has returned in 2021, offering viewers an inside look at a mother’s hibernation and the early days in the life of a cub. The camera is stationed beneath the deck of a cabin in Monroe County, the same spot where a previous livestream was available in 2019.
