Juaquan Fitzgerald, 33, of Philadelphia, has been charged with the murder of 27-year-old Duane Banks, whose body was found in 2020 near the woods in Franklin Township, New Jersey. Fitzgerald also has been charged with unlawfully disturbing human remains, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose and related offenses.

Drought conditions in New Jersey have expanded to include more of South Jersey, according to the latest updates from the U.S. Drought Monitor. Parts of Atlantic and Cumberland counties, as well as Cape May County in its entirety, are facing “severe” drought for the first time since September 2010.
